Looking back, I realize how absolutely everything that’s come into my life has been manifested. And I bet if you look back through your own life, you’ll begin to recognize that too. You start to connect the dots.
Manifesting twin sisters and our perfect house both happened before I even knew what manifesting was. I didn’t learn about the Law of Attraction and manifesting until 2006. (This is when pretty much everyone learned about it because that’s when The Secret came out.)
In fact, I believe I also manifested my husband. I was only 16 when we met. We met online with a program called Prodigy. This was in 1992, and the internet back then was basically horoscopes, email, and message boards.
We both happened to be on this brand new program (Prodigy) and ended up meeting via email. It happened so quickly.
(This story is so terribly cheesy, but I guess I’ll torture you and tell it anyway. Feel free to laugh at my expense.)
My cousin had this Italian boyfriend, and I thought he was cute, so I also decided I wanted an Italian boyfriend. (I’m a 16-year-old kid, remember.) So I wrote this on some message board: “Looking for Italian men.”
(Ummmmm, by the way… I would pretty much kill my daughter if she did this in this day and age, and it probably was a bad idea back then too. But in my defense, it was a completely different atmosphere at that time since barely anyone was even online.)
My now-husband was the first person to email me on November 15, 1992. He told me both of his parents came right off the boat from Italy and, therefore, he was 100% Italian. Apparently, that was good enough for me!
We’ve been together ever since. We got married on November 15, 2002, which was our 10-year anniversary of meeting via that email.
And that’s how I manifested my “SP”. (SP is a new term to me, and I think it’s interesting how the Law of Attraction / Law of Assumption community has blown up with people trying to manifest their Specific Person, but we can discuss that another day.)
Our Perfect House
Now, let’s go to how we ended up with our perfect house. This is a case where the 3D reality was showing us something different than what we really wanted. It proves that you can get what you want anyway.
My husband and I lived in this condo, and it was a nice place. It was a perfect starter place for us.
Except…
We had an alcoholic neighbor who lived above us and hated my husband. She caused us a lot of trouble. There were several police calls between the two of us and we even went to court with her before we finally decided to move.
(She ended up dying not long after we moved. I feel sorry for her and I do hope she’s finally at peace.)
During the process of finding a new house, we talked about some things we wanted. It was kind of like, “wouldn’t it be nice if we had a,b,c,d,e,f,g, and x,y, and z?”
We just listed the things that we would love to have in a house, but we didn’t necessarily expect to get them all.
So we went with our realtor and looked at options over several weeks. We finally settled on a nice townhouse that had a good portion of our list. Not everything. But it was close.
We signed the contract. All was well.
Except…
One day we were at this house and I remember standing in the bedroom and I told my husband, “I don’t know. Something just doesn’t feel right. Can we look one more time?”
I just had this gut feeling. (Always listen to your gut.)
Since we already had a contract on the house, I’m actually surprised that my husband agreed to go look. But he seemed to be totally on board with the idea.
We went on an impulse and didn’t wait for our realtor. We just hopped in the car and drove around. All of a sudden, we come into this one neighborhood. We’re driving along seeing if there’s anything available that looks good and…
BAM.
We see a house that, from the outside, looked to have everything we wanted on our want list. And there was a little “For Sale By Owner” sign in the bedroom window.
We were able to set up a time with our realtor to see the house and as soon as we walked in the door, I knew it was “our place”. Not only did it have every single thing on our list, but it also had MORE that I didn’t even know I wanted.
For instance, we have a den with a fireplace and a wall of bookshelves. I didn’t know I wanted that, but it was so perfect.
Even our realtor agreed that this was a nice place.
But There Was a Problem
We were still in a contract on the other house. How could we get out of that?
Well, it just so happens that during the inspection, there was a tiny issue with the roof. It wasn’t anything major that would cause problems if we decided to live there, but we were able to use it as a way to get out of the contract.
Everything always works out.
We’re still living in that house today, almost 20 years later. We’re about to get our kitchen remodeled and I’m really excited about that! It’s going to be spectacular!
If you liked this manifestation success story, you may also enjoy how my perfect carpet showed up on my doorstep.
It’s another example of things working out, even though it doesn’t seem like they will. The Universe always delivers…
